This month’s Music @ the Library, sponsored by the Sportsmen’s Americana Music Foundation, will feature Henry’s Summer Kitchen with its music of a certain vintage.
The way they describe their music is, to quote “The Blues Brothers” movie, as country AND western,” along with AM radio gold.
On Facebook, they say they’re Taylor Belling and Andrew Rabb along with “hired guns” Greg Amado and Ryan Campbell.
The show is Saturday, Aug. 19, on the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library’s reading park ramp (off Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo). It will be moved inside if the weather decides otherwise. It’s a free show.
The band says it will be playing “all your forgotten favorites that haven’t been heard in 50 years. … A stellar setlist of original material, you’ll also hear classics by Merle, Buck, Waylon, Tommy James, Sam the Sham and Richard Thompson.”
If you want a taste of Henry’s Summer Kitchen’s music, here is a video they were featured in recently, performing one of their original songs.

On the Music @ the Library front, here is the video from last month’s show, featuring Chuckie Campbell with the ubiquitous Sally Schaefer as a special guest.

Don’t forget, tonight is Foundation Night at the Sportsmen’s Tavern. It’s a good time to renew your SAM Foundation membership.
Of course, you can also always do it HERE, too.
