Almost every day of the week there is great live music going on all over WNY, starting with the Sportsmen’s Tavern.  Then there are our partners such as  Babeville, either in Asbury Hall or the intimate confines of the 9th Ward, or Buffalo Ironworks.  Artpark has great shows during the better weather times of the year, and the West Falls Center for the Arts is a fellow music non-profit.

There are many more but I don’t want to keep naming them and leave someone out. The SAM Foundation is working on an app that will provide you with live music information from all over town; more info coming soon.

We try to make it a little easier on your wallet every month by providing some free tickets for our members to shows at a variety of venues.  Coming up this month are four shows from the Sportsmen’s Tavern:

Anyone familiar with the Americana music scene knows this Upstate New York-based band has cut their teeth on a killer live show.  I’ve seen them a couple times at the Sportsmen’s and the shows were epic performances.

Look these bands up if you don’t know them, these will all be great shows.  I just tried to add a line or two but it’s easy to find out all about them.

You’re getting this email on Tuesday, Nov. 1.  Let’s call the deadline the day before Election Day; you’ve got ’til Monday, Nov. 7, at 9 p.m. to email me at rjmcl14@gmail.com and tell me which show(s) you want to win tickets for.  We’re giving away two pairs to each show.

I’ll see many of you at The Last Waltz on Friday, Nov. 18, at Babeville.  Happy Thanksgiving!
